These are so the words that I wish to hear at this point...but in order to hear them would mean that I actually play the lottery, which I don't, so I'm s-o-l!
I am just overly stressed right now about finances, which always seems to be the case lately. Ever since Allan had to close his company, things have been tight. He got a promotion at Saturn that kicks in next week, and that comes with a pay increase, so things will be a bit better then. It is just going to take us awhile to get out of this rut and back on track, in the mean time, he is calm and cool about it all and I am overly stressed out.
This weekend we are going to Niagara Falls to Great Wolf Lodge with the kids, my girlfriend Shannon and her daughter, and her sister...not sure 100% who else is going, but it is going to be a great time! I think it is definitely what my family needs to get recharged and ready to tackle life head on again!
I tried something new with Kit Cat this morning, and unfortunately it didn't work. Every day is a struggle over what she will wear, she wants to wear what she wants regardless of mother nature co-operating. This morning though, she didn't want to choose, she wanted me to choose which is a complete change. So maybe it did really work (telling her that she can choose what she wears)! I am seriously debating moving both of her dressers into my bedroom closet so that she can no longer access them. To every one basket of laundry that combines me, Allan & Twister, Kit Cat has at least two. It's absolutely ridiculous. She is constantly changing her clothes. Yesterday for example, she changed her underwear 5 times!!! Every time I turn around she has something else on. I have tried the time outs, I have tried grounding her from certain toys/things, I have tried removing privileges, etc., but absolutely nothing has worked. Which brings me to where I am now, either moving them into my bedroom or installing locks on the drawers so she can't get them open! I can't wait for this phase to end...and I pray that it is just a phase and won't continue into her teen years!
Twister is down for his nap right now, but before he went down he was downstairs and I was upstairs putting laundry away. I heard him giggling like mad, so went down to see what had him laughing so much! He had climbed up on the table, and had removed the part of the hamster cage that prevents them from escaping, so the hamster was running around on the bench and couldn't figure out a way to get down, Twister was above on the table and just laughing his head off. Yo was rescued and put back into the cage, Twister was removed from the table. No children or animals were harmed! Thankfully Zoola was sleeping (she's the fat, lazy hamster) so she didn't even realize the freedom that was available to her for a short time.
Today will be full of the norm, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I hate cleaning. If you ask my girlfriend Chelsea, I say that every day...at least once a day! It's supposed to rain this afternoon, and it rained early this morning so the grass is still damp, so it looks like we won't be able to head outside at all this afternoon. I may take my girlfriend Anne's rainy day idea and play dress up with the kids, but I think Kit Cat already changes enough so it may only encourage her..but it would be fun and there is a chance I could get some nice pics! It's either that or we may do some painting this afternoon, with the painting at least Twister can join in for a bit...that is until he decides that the paint tastes good!

That is awesome that Allan is getting a promption. I hope that you can get caught up soon. It is so hard when you've fallen behind. The story about tristan is a crack up. I can see him crawling up there and letting them out. So cute:) Maybe Caitie will be so sick of changing clothes 5 times a day that she will be over that by the time she is a teenager. lol. The sun is out and it is beautiful so I am off for a walk. TTYL:)
I forgot... how did you get that border at the top of your blog? I like it:)
I actually created the border in photoshop...I can do one for you if you want! It's just like digital scrapbooking...just on a smaller scale!
Lucky you having nice sun today! It rained here this morning, and was supposed to rain this afternoon, so I didn't go out...and of course, it ended up not raining!
It rained this afternoon and all evening. I'm so glad I was able to get out this morning. I would love it if you make me one when you have time. Could you make it to match my blog:)
Will do! I'll do it today for you!
Oh! Just send me the pic you want in it...if you want a pic in it!
